Y’all, this is my year. I feel it in my core. I also know that it’s your year. I know this because we are in this together! Major beneficial health and lifestyle changes don’t often happen overnight, so my challenge to you is to take it one step at a time. When we implement small changes into our daily live, it’s easier to stay on track and succeed in reaching our goals! My next series of blog posts will be short, to the point challenges to integrate into our routines every day to help create easy healthy habits that last!
So, I want this week to be simple. I want you to hydrate and keep a water bottle on you at ALL TIMES! Extra points if you add in some lemon. I don't want you to cut out anything you currently eat or drink unless you choose to do that on your own. People notice that just by ADDING things into their diets, they don't care to reach for a coke, or cookie, or whatever it is that they reach for. By adding lots of water, you can "crowd out" other beverages or even curb your cravings! Also, lets add in 10-15 extra minutes of intentional movement. Even if its doing a few squats while you are waiting on your shower to warm up or coffee to brew. Play with your kids or pets, work in your yard (get some sun on those legs!), do calf raises while you brush your teeth, or a crunch or two if you are laying in the floor. It does't matter, just move intentionally! It all adds up! You got this! Health and fitness isn't something you try and fit into your life...It IS your life.
